  Our favorite restaurant for years. Birthday dinners, communions, family dinners. Never disappointed. Always,satisfied. Great steaks n seafood. Well prepared. The microwave comment below is nonsense. Someone with a grudge. We have been going there for 12 plus years and have nva been disappointed.
  Sangria fantastic too. I recommend to many people...and i am always thanked for the suggestion. Try it u will not be disappointed.

  Went there for dinner last night and had the worst steak of my life! My friend tried to explain that it is the style of Portugal to cook steaks in a microwave, and that is what makes the meat dried, tough, and tasteless. He explained that it was an "acquired taste" and that I needed to broaden my horizons about various different cultures and cuisines. But then my other friend "Googled" the subject, and she said that people in Portugal do not normally cook their steaks in a microwave. So, now I am confused about how the steak was supposed to be prepared. The menu said "grilled," but my first friend--the one who brought me to A Taberna--told me that in Portugal "grilled" means "microwaved." Well, we are going to go back there again, because they apparently do a "Shrimp Wrapped in Toilet Paper" and an "Old Can of Bumblebee Tuna" that is to die for.
